Collier Quarrying and Recycling Ltd. was established in 2007 as a local family-owned quarrying, concrete products and bi-products business. The company provides long term secure local employment together with contributing to the local economy and local community. With the purchase of the quarry, we began recycling demolition material recycled into re-usable aggregates and sub- base materials. After gaining local authority planning permission in 2010, we started to extract premium quality premium quartz dolerite stone here at Goathill for industry use. We Plan to extract 200,000 tons per year, with a lifetime supply for 40years from a reserve of around eight million tons supplying a broad range of aggregate solutions including re-cycled and sustainably sourced materials. These include High PSV aggregate for highway surfacing, and airport runways.
