At Collier, we are dedicated to supporting a sustainable future through our haulage, quarrying, and recycling efforts. We actively engage and analyze our operations to implement sustainable methods in all our work activities. This is done for the benefit of our customers, industry, and the communities we serve.
Our Mission
We installed a 1.5MW wind turbine to provide sustainable energy for our plant. Our solar panels generate an additional 200kw of clean energy for domestic and commercial use at our Quarry Operations. This saves significant amounts of diesel, contributing to our greener product. Our Hybrid Terex Aggregate Screening Plants produce and screen tons of aggregate and sand per week. They are powered by our clean energy sources, further reducing diesel consumption per machine. We supply whin dust to the agricultural sector, capturing approximately 25% of greenhouse gases per acre and benefiting future generations. We monitor the market and research electrification options for other plant machinery to maintain carbon-free production. For every tree replaced, we plant 10 trees as part of our restoration plans. Additionally, we recycle incinerator bottom ash into alternative aggregates, supporting our customers' carbon reduction targets due to limited land reserves.
